They're both priced higher than other headgear (rightly so) so I'm glad that none of them have any outstanding blemishes. So It's a draw! Both are known for their expert craftsmanship and both are very clean. I couldn't lean one way or another because both had some really well done areas and like only one area had double stitching. On to the review!īoth are very well designed and manufactured. I had the Rival much longer and I put a lot of use in the Rivals and roughly about 20 rounds on the Ring To Cage headgear.
I bought these headgear at separate times. I'll do a comparison review between a size large Ring to Cage's Japanese Training Headgear ($99.00) and a XL Rival's D3O Headgear ($130.00). Greetings and salutations readers! Instead of just reviewing something that has already been throughly reviewed by my good buddy Strat.
